Yamarin 80 DC
The new Yamarin 80 DC differs from typical Nordic day cruisers and also from Yamarin's other models especially in the design of its bow deck, which provides access to the boat from the side. Access from the sheltered open seating area to the bow is located on the port side, whereas in most modern day cruisers access is typically in the middle of the boat.
The real heart of the boat, however, is its spacious open space where up to eight people can socialise in comfort. The pantry on the port side is equipped with a stove, refrigerator and sink, as well as good storage facilities. During cooking, the lid of the pantry opens into a handy worktop.

I wish Yamarin still would make boats like this.
The freeboards are quite low on the current Yamarins of this size compared to earlier models and how AMT designs its boats. Higher freeboard improve the feel of safety.

Very nice boat. Yarmarin showcased the DC 80 at the FLIBS this year (2023), this brand is amazing. I hope to find a used model soon.
So when are we getting a 98 DC in the same design language but with standing headroom in the heads after the huge disappointment that is the totally irrelevant 80 DC?

Nice boat. But I live in Denmark in Scandinavia, and here a daycruiser is a very impractical type of boat if you want to enjoy your boat a lot and have a long season from April to October. I myself have a Yamarin 63 HT which I would not trade for anything in this world, and I will never sell it, and which I have sailed 4000 nautical miles in ( = 7400 kilometers ) since 2017 ( 6 seasons ), and always with overnight stays, and cooking on board, on the other hand, it is a very practical and usable type of boat which unfortunately is no longer made. When I meet people on the water with daycruiser boats, I can hear that they don't use their expensively bought boats that much, and they rarely or never spend the night in them, and never cook on board, it takes away some of the enjoyment, I think
